By Road
If you're coming from the south, follow the A9 past Tain and over the Dornoch Bridge. After ten miles, you'll come to The Mound junction (pictured). Turn left and follow the road for four miles into Rogart.
If you're coming from the north, follow the A9 south through Golspie. After four miles you'll come to The Mound junction (pictured). Turn right and follow the road for four miles into Rogart.

Once you reach Rogart (signposted as Pittentrail) drive through the village - you'll pass the shop and the war memorial on your left, then the garage on your right. Rowallan is on your right about 200 metres past the garage.
By Rail
If you don't drive, then Rowallan is the perfect holiday location for you. It's a short, easy walk to the house from the station, as you can see from the picture taken here on the station platform! Simply walk up the hill from the station for about 200 yards, then turn left at the crossroads and you'll see Rowallan about 400 yards along the road on your right.
You'll find the train journey one of the most picturesque in the country, and the station opens up a whole range of beautiful locations for you to visit whilst you're staying with us too.
By Air
If you're coming from further afield, then Inverness Airport is 60 miles away from Rowallan. It is served by a wide variety of airlines and connections, and there is an excellent public transport network available to take you on the last leg of your journey when you land.
